The heart of LUG Con is the adventure of exploring new games. Whether you’re a lifelong gamer or just discovering the hobby, LUG Con is your chance to explore more games in one weekend.

With four days of board games, RPGs, miniatures, trading card games, puzzles, hobbying, and more, our schedule is packed with everything from beginner-friendly demos and Learn-to-Plays to organized play, tournaments, and special events. Many activities are included with your convention badge and offer opportunities to earn prizes, discover new favorites, and connect with fellow gamers.

Exhibit Hall

Discover an incredible marketplace featuring 70+ vendors from across the country, bringing together some of the biggest names in tabletop gaming alongside exciting independent publishers, creators, and local businesses.

Whether you’re hunting for your next favorite board game, stocking up on RPG accessories, finding the perfect set of dice, or browsing fantasy-inspired gifts and handcrafted artisan creations, we’ve collected a variety of vendors so there’s something for everyone! As part of the Hall, our Artist Alley will feature 20+ local artists offering unique artwork, prints, commissions, and one-of-a-kind creations from tabletop and pop culture universes.

Beyond the main exhibit hall, you’ll also encounter select vendors woven directly into the convention experience. Our immersive Fantasy Market features skilled artisans and makers just outside the gaming Ballroom, while several featured publishers and exhibitors will have Direct Access Booths located right inside our gaming spaces. That means you can jump into a demo, learn a new game from the people who made it, and if you fall in love with it, simply walk a few steps to purchase it and continue the conversation with the creators themselves. It’s a unique opportunity to experience games the way they were meant to be played while connecting directly with the publishers and designers behind them.

A format for 2 – 8 players to open card packs, then play one-on-one games on the spot! Each deck should have at least 40 cards and should last an average length for a game (about 20 minutes).

How to draft: First, players sit around a table in a semi-circle. Each player picks a single card without showing the other players.

Each player then passes the remaining cards to the left, and continues drafting from the new cards they get from the player on their right. This continues until all of the cards in those packs have been distributed (drafted). Then each player drafts a second pack, but this time, pass the pack to the right. After all those cards are drafted, you do the same with the third pack, passing to the left again. At the end, each player will have about 45 cards (along with any number of basic lands) which they can use to build a 40 card deck.

Game Library

The Game Library is back and bigger than ever! This year, LUGCon is partnering with Lending Library Logistics to bring you the acclaimed Game Library as seen at Gen Con, featuring more than 2,700 games available to borrow, play, and return; all free with your convention badge. Simply check out a game, find an open table, enjoy a play session with friends, and return it when you’re finished.

Whether you’re looking to discover your next favorite game, try a title you’ve been curious about, or introduce someone to the hobby, the Game Library is one of the best ways to experience everything tabletop gaming has to offer. With thousands of games spanning every genre, complexity level, player count, and age group, there’s truly something for everyone. The library will be open throughout the convention and conveniently located in the main gaming ballroom.

Many games in the library will also be part of our Play to Win program in partnership with Envoy. Simply check out a participating game, play it, and return it to be entered into a drawing to win your own copy—completely free to participate. One of the biggest highlights from last year’s event was the opportunity to discover and play games attendees might never have experienced otherwise, and with this year’s expanded library, you’ll have even more opportunities to explore new favorites all weekend long.

Prize Wall

Back by popular demand, the Prize Wall returns for another year of fun and is bigger and better than ever! Stocked with games, accessories, collectibles, and other great prizes donated by participating vendors from both at the convention and across the country, the Prize Wall rewards you simply for joining in the fun.

Much like an arcade prize counter, you’ll earn Prize Wall Tickets by participating in events, tournaments, demos, and convention activities, then redeem them whenever you’re ready for prizes of your choice.

Whether you cash in your tickets for a collection of smaller rewards or save up for one of our bigger prizes, there’s something for everyone. After the incredible response to the Prize Wall at last year’s convention, we’ve expanded and improved the program based on attendee feedback, with even more ways to earn tickets throughout the weekend. Tavern

Looking for a place to relax between games? The Tavern is LUGCon’s exclusive 21+ gathering space. Access is available with a Tavern Pass, a four-day badge add-on that includes admission for the entire convention weekend.

The Tavern features a cash bar, a stage for tabletop-themed performances and special events, a free-to-play retro arcade, and open gaming tables available outside of scheduled programming. It’s the perfect place to enjoy a quieter game, gather a group for a social deduction game, or simply unwind with friends between events. Throughout the weekend, you may also find exclusive food and beverage offerings, drink samples from participating vendors, and a few additional surprises.

Every Tavern Pass also includes a special goodie bag filled with merch, freebies, and bonus Prize Wall Tickets, making it an even better value.

Fantasy Market

NEW this year! Celebrate the fantasy side of tabletop gaming in the Fantasy Market, sponsored by Dragon Eye Events. Located just outside the main gaming ballroom, this unique marketplace features more than 10 artisan vendors offering handcrafted leatherwork, chainmail jewelry, woodworking, multimedia art, fantasy-inspired accessories, and other one-of-a-kind creations.

Inspired by the immersive atmosphere of fantasy festivals and Renaissance fairs, the Fantasy Market offers a themed shopping experience that feels like stepping into the worlds that inspire so many of our favorite games, while keeping the focus firmly on tabletop gaming.

Puzzle Events – by Ravensburger

Put your teamwork, speed, and puzzle-solving skills to the test in our Ravensburger Puzzle Building Challenge! Gather your team and race against the clock to complete one of Ravensburger’s beautifully crafted jigsaw puzzles before the time runs out.

Lorcana Learn-2-Play

Have you been curious about Disney’s hit TCG Loracana? Every two hours we have Learn-2-Play tables all weekend long. Each player will walk away with a FREE Lorcana deck (while supplies last)

Buzzworthy Games

Discover what’s new in tabletop gaming with Buzzworthy Games, presented in partnership with KennyCon. This special series of Learn-to-Play sessions features four standout new releases for 2026, giving you the opportunity to get these exciting new titles to the table and see what they’re all about.

Board Game Learn-a-thon

New this year, the Board Game Learn-a-thon, sponsored by Level Up Games. Based on attendee feedback from last year, we know that one of the best parts of the convention was having the chance to try a wide variety of games.

So, taking place on Friday and Saturday, the Learn-a-thon features a full schedule of Learn-to-Play sessions running every hour throughout the day. Each session highlights a popular, entry-level, and family-friendly board game, making it a perfect introduction for new gamers or a great way for experienced players to discover a new favorite.

With sessions happening all day, the Learn-a-thon is an easy addition to your convention schedule—you can slot them in between your other events or plan to hang out all day and play. Space is limited for each session, so be sure to reserve your seat in advance through Tabletop.Events.

New this year, several of LUG Con’s Featured Vendors will be located right inside the gaming areas, bringing games, demos, and shopping together in one place. In addition to showcasing their products, these exhibitors will be running events throughout the weekend, giving you the opportunity to learn directly from the teams behind the games.

If you discover a new favorite during a demo or Learn-to-Play, you won’t have to go far—they’ll be just steps away with their full booth and products ready to explore. It’s a unique way to meet the people behind the games, ask questions, and enjoy a more hands-on convention experience.

One of last year’s biggest crowd favorites is rolling back into LUG Con! The Dice Is Right gives attendees the chance to test their luck by guessing how many dice are packed inside our giant display container.

Submit your guess anytime during the convention, and the attendee with the closest guess will win a special grand prize, announced during our Closing Ceremony at 5:00 PM on Sunday.

But that’s only the beginning. Once the winner has been announced, we’ll kick off the Mega Dice Roll—our grand finale celebration! We’ll dump out the entire container of dice, and attendees are invited to dive in and scoop up as many dice as they can carry. It’s fast, chaotic, and an absolute blast, making for one of the most memorable moments of the weekend.

LUG Con Crystal Quests

(aka the Scavenger Hunt)

The fan-favorite scavenger hunts return this year as Crystal Quests, presented by Wandrring Bazaar! Free for all attendees, Crystal Quests invite adventurers of all ages to explore the convention, solve clues, and discover new corners of LUGCon along the way.

This year features three unique quests. Start with either the Novice Quest or the more challenging Master Quest, each offering a different level of puzzle-solving as you follow clues to locations throughout the convention. At each stop, you’ll collect a marker, and once you’ve completed your quest, you can redeem your completed card for an exclusive collectible LUGCon pin designed by our artist partner, EJS Creations.

New for this year is the Explorer Quest, which encourages you to experience everything LUGCon has to offer by participating in events from each of our tabletop gaming categories. Complete the challenge to earn a special prize sponsored by Wandering Bazaar.

Last year’s exclusive pins were a huge hit, and this year’s designs are just as special. There’s no time limit, so do one quest or all three. But Quest prizes are available while supplies last, so be sure to begin your adventure early and claim your rewards before they’re gone!

Swap Meet

LUG Con is hosting a Swap Meet, presented by Level Up Games, coming to LUG Con for a special one-time event. Browse tables filled with new and gently used board games, RPGs, miniatures, tabletop accessories, and more, all offered by fellow members of the tabletop community.

Community members can purchase a seller space through Tabletop.Events to host a table and sell or trade their own games and gaming accessories. All sales, trades, and payment arrangements are handled directly between buyers and sellers. Seller spaces are limited, while shopping is open to all attendees at no additional cost. Whether you’re looking to score a great find or pass along games that deserve a new table, be sure to add the LUGCon Swap Meet to your schedule.

Closing Ceremony

Join us on Sunday at 5:00 PM for the LUG Con Closing Ceremony, the perfect way to wrap up an unforgettable weekend. Attendees, vendors, event hosts, and the LUGCon team come together one last time to celebrate the convention, recognize the people who made it possible, announce prize winners, and share a few exciting updates about what’s ahead. It’s a chance to reflect on a great weekend and close out the show together as a community.

The celebration concludes with the Mega Dice Roll, sponsored by Black Oak Workshop and Wise Oaks Roofing, as thousands of dice are poured onto the floor for attendees to scoop up and take home as a fun keepsake from their time at LUGCon. Don’t miss one of the most memorable traditions of the weekend!

STEP 2: Submit Crew Application

Head on over to the Tabletop Events site where the Crew Applications are. Log in and select the “Volunteer” menu at the top and choose “Apply/View Application”. Once you submit your Crew Application, you will receive an email confirmation. It will then be reviewed by LUG Con staff.
